Understanding the dashboard
A walkthrough of every section on your AuditForce dashboard: the org card, status card, snapshot summary, and change history.
The dashboard is your home base. It shows the current state of your connected org and the results of your most recent snapshot.
What you'll see
Org card
The large card on the left shows your connected Salesforce org.
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Connected (green dot) | AuditForce is actively monitoring your org |
| Not connected | No org is connected. Click "Connect Salesforce Org" to get started. |
| Connection error (red dot) | AuditForce lost access to your org. Click "Reconnect Salesforce Org" to fix it. |
When connected, the card shows your org's name, instance URL, org ID, and the last time AuditForce successfully refreshed its connection.
Status card
The smaller card on the right shows your connection status and the "Run snapshot now" button. This button is only visible when your org is connected.
Last snapshot summary
Below the org and status cards, you'll see the results of your most recent snapshot: total changes found, and a breakdown by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
If no snapshot has been run yet, you'll see a prompt to run your first one.
Change history
Below the snapshot summary, the change history section shows a trend chart and a filterable table of all changes in the last 30 days. See the Changes feed article for a full walkthrough.
The "Run snapshot now" button
Clicking this button tells AuditForce to check your org right now, rather than waiting for the next scheduled run. Use this when:
- You want to see changes immediately after something happened in your org
- You just connected your org and want your first results now
- You haven't checked in a while and want a fresh read
The button shows "Running..." while the snapshot is in progress. When it finishes, the dashboard updates with the new results automatically.
Frequently asked questions
How often does AuditForce check my org automatically? Once per day by default. You can change the frequency (daily, weekly) and the time it runs in Settings.
Why does the org card show "Connection error"? Your connection to Salesforce has expired. This usually happens if the app's access was revoked in Salesforce or the credentials changed. Click "Reconnect Salesforce Org" and go through the connect flow again.
The last snapshot summary shows 0 changes. Is something wrong? No. It means nothing changed in your org during the window that snapshot covered. AuditForce only shows changes, not the absence of them.
I just connected my org but see no data yet. Click "Run snapshot now" to take your first snapshot. AuditForce does not run automatically on connect.
