Your changes feed

How to read and filter your changes table, view a specific snapshot, and compare changes between two points in time.

The Changes page shows every configuration change AuditForce has recorded for your org. You can filter, sort, and compare changes across snapshots.

Getting there

Click Changes in the top navigation bar from any page in AuditForce.

What you'll see

The changes table

Each row is one change. The columns are:

ColumnWhat it shows
What changedA plain-English description of what was modified
CategoryThe type of change (for example, Profiles, Sharing Rules, Apex)
SeverityCritical, High, Medium, or Low
WhenThe date and time the change happened in Salesforce
WhoThe Salesforce user who made the change

Click any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order.

The trend chart

Above the table, a bar chart shows your change volume over the last 30 days, broken down by severity. Use this to spot unusually active periods in your org.

Filtering changes

Filter by severity

Use the severity tabs above the table to show only Critical, High, Medium, or Low changes. Click "All" to go back to the full list.

Filter by category

Use the category dropdown to show only one type of change, such as Profiles or Flows. This is useful when you're investigating a specific area of your org.

Search

Type in the search box to filter by keyword. AuditForce searches the "What changed" description and the "Who" field.

Viewing a specific snapshot

By default, the Changes page shows all changes in your plan's history window. To look at a specific snapshot:

  1. Click the snapshot selector at the top of the page.
  2. Choose a snapshot from the list. Each snapshot shows the date it ran and how many changes it found.
  3. The table updates to show only the changes from that snapshot.

Comparing two snapshots

To see what changed between two points in time:

  1. Switch to Compare mode using the toggle above the snapshot selector.
  2. Select a "From" snapshot and a "To" snapshot.
  3. The table shows all changes that occurred between those two snapshots.

History limits by plan

PlanChange history
FreeLast 7 days
CoreLast 90 days

Changes older than your plan's history limit are not shown. They are permanently deleted from AuditForce after the retention window closes.

Frequently asked questions

A change shows a Salesforce username I don't recognize. What does that mean? It could be an automated process, an integration user, or an admin you weren't aware of. AuditForce shows the exact username Salesforce reported for that change.

I expected to see a change but it's not here. Why? A few possible reasons: the change happened before your current history window, no snapshot has run since the change occurred, or the change type is not captured by Salesforce's change history (some internal system events aren't recorded). Run a fresh snapshot and check again.

Can I export my changes? Not yet. Export is on the roadmap.

I see the same change listed multiple times. Is that a bug? No. If the same setting was changed multiple times across different snapshots, each change appears as a separate row. This is by design: AuditForce keeps a complete record of every individual change.
