Every email AuditForce sends, what triggers each one, and how to manage your email preferences.

AuditForce sends you emails to keep you informed about your org without having to log in every day. You control which emails you receive from the Settings page.


Emails you'll receive

Welcome email

Sent once when you create your account. Confirms your account is active and links you to your dashboard.

Org connected email

Sent once when you successfully connect your Salesforce org. Confirms AuditForce has access and is ready to start monitoring.

First snapshot email

Sent after your first snapshot completes. This arrives whether or not any changes were found.

Daily digest

Sent after each snapshot that finds changes.

The digest includes:

  • Total change count
  • Breakdown by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low)
  • A list of the top changes, starting with the most severe

Free plan: Shows the top 5 changes. Core plan: Shows all changes.

No email is sent when a snapshot finds 0 changes. AuditForce doesn't send empty digests.

Real-time Critical alert (Core plan only)

Sent immediately when a snapshot finds one or more Critical changes.

This email fires before the daily digest so you don't have to wait. Free plan users receive Critical changes in their next daily digest instead.

Snapshot failed email

Sent when AuditForce can't complete a snapshot. Includes a link to your dashboard to reconnect your org.


Managing your email preferences

Go to Settings to turn individual emails on or off.

Turning off the daily digest stops all post-snapshot emails except the snapshot failed alert. The snapshot failed alert cannot be turned off.


Changing your digest time

By default, AuditForce runs your snapshot once per day. You can choose what time it runs.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Under Snapshot schedule, set your preferred time and timezone.
  3. Save. Your next snapshot will run at the new time.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not receiving emails. What should I check? First, check your spam or junk folder. If emails are there, mark them as "not spam" so future emails land in your inbox. If you don't see them at all, go to Settings and confirm your email address is correct and that the daily digest is turned on.

Can I send the digest to a team email address or Slack channel? Not yet. Emails go to the account owner's address only. Team notifications are on the roadmap.

I got a Critical alert but the change looks routine. Why? Severity is based on the type of change, not the specific details. If this change type is consistently not Critical for your org, go to Settings, find the matching rule under Severity Rules, and lower it to High or Medium. Future changes of that type will use your adjusted severity.

I turned off the daily digest but still got an email. Why? If you turned it off after a snapshot had already started, that snapshot's email was already queued. The change takes effect for all future snapshots.

Does AuditForce send emails when nothing changed? No. After your first snapshot, AuditForce only sends emails when changes are found. A quiet org means a quiet inbox.
